So I had an odd idea to make these crazy fixtures resembling a cross between Sinam mosques in Istanbul and the Red Fort in Delhi. I had them painted soft sandstone pink like the sandstone used in all of the forts in Rajasthan. I am tired of all of the dull fixtures in the world. To acknowledge the final arrival of these crazy new fixtures, we had a little party.

Jennifer, Marlene and Meredith did an amazing job styling beds in very interesting and spicy combinations. New block prints I had just printed in Jaipur were pried from my grips in spring colors. Dana and Ben show off some pretty amazing teeth. Happy shoppers ask my advice on pillows that even a boyfriend might like. I suggest grey ikats to appeal to the inner hippy. Spencer brings by his Polo crew to smell the flowers and add some urban zest to the event . Richard and Eva model turbans and Gusti Richard’s hound mugs for the camera. All and all a great night. Thank you for your support.
