Sales Intern

New York Office
Reports to the Sales Team

John Robshaw Textiles is a leading textiles company based in New York City. We are a boutique line focusing on handcrafted technique and all of our products are made in India and Southeast Asia. Our Sales Team is looking for an intern to learn and help with a variety of projects and tasks, from photo shoots to trade shows. If you love the textile and home industry, John Robshaw is a great place to learn more about the fashion bedding industry and receive an experience that furthers your career goals.

Job Description:
-Visual Merchandising
-Administrative support
-Assist with prospecting new accounts
-Assist with catalog photo shoot
-Assist with trade shows
-Support Fabric Team
-Plenty of additional opportunities in related projects

Requirements & Qualifications:
-Detailed oriented and very organized, with an ability to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
-Strong communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Suite Office
-Self-starter
-Creative & Flexible
-Interest in Textiles and the home industry a plus
-Must be able to work 3 days a week to start
-Looking for candidates that are currently in school or recent graduates

Account Executive

New York Office
Reports to Sales Director

Job description
-Manage accounts and provide exceptional customer service
-Sales support: order follow up, stock requests, EDI review
-Co-manage outside sales reps for specialty market
-Utilize strong analytical abilities to review weekly sales and utilize in house sales system to generate detailed analysis, business and product reports/recommendations
-Present new product seasonally to accounts and sales associates
-Organize bi-annual tradeshows in the US
-Collaborate with design team on product development
-Visit accounts to merchandise product, review feedback, assess competitive landscape
-Prospect new accounts
-Provide photoshoot support and liase with graphic designer and printer to develop seasonal catalogs

Requirements
-Two years previous experience as an Account Executive, preferably within the luxury home textiles / bedding market
-Experience working with Bloomingdales is a big plus
-Exceptional analytical skills and MS Excel expert
-Must be detail oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task
-Strong presentation and communication skills
-Must be a team player
