Mandvi is a 400 year old ship building town, the summer retreat of a king, and a stop along the maritime spice route. Years ago, I wandered its beaches and shipyards admiring the the teak boats. The bed's diamond-shaped block prints are like a sailor's flags dipped in cinnamon.
