Sagar Sage Quilt

Originating in the desert state of Rajasthan, Leheriya is a centuries old Indian textile dyeing craft celebrated for its fluid, wave-like patterns and vibrant artistry. Deeply rooted in the cultural traditions of the region, the name comes from the Hindi word “leher,” meaning wave — a reflection of the rippling lines that define the craft.

Created through an intricate resist-dyeing technique, the fabric is first carefully folded and tightly tied by hand before being immersed in dye. The tied sections resist the color, revealing rhythmic striped patterns once opened. Each piece is unique, carrying the marks of the artisan’s hand and the beauty of traditional craftsmanship.

Machine wash cold, separately, delicate cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach. Iron at medium setting if necessary.
